Yesterday, Samsung started selling the Galaxy Tab S5e, a mid-range Android tablet that's just 5.5 millimeters thin, thus being thinner than Apple's newest iPad Air (6.1 mm). Samsung is asking $399.99 for the 64 GB version of the Galaxy Tab S5e, and $479.99 for the 128 GB version - acceptable prices for what the slate has to offer.
