How many times this year have you went to grab your phone from where you usually keep it only to panic when you realize it’s not there and then breathe a sigh of sweet relief ten seconds later when you find it? Chances are this happens to you quite a few times.
Who can blame you? That’s where your calendar lives! And your alarms, and your self-help apps, and your books, your music, your photos, your contacts’ information, and your GPS system. We reach for our phone constantly because we’ve come to rely on it for so much.
But what about those times you go to check it just to see someone’s latest post? Or to check in to see if that one person you really liked has uploaded a new picture? What if you’re reaching for your video just for the sake of the mindless scroll? In this video, we’re delving a bit more into why our phones are so addictive and what we can do to mitigate that.
